Number Of Ingredients 5

1/2 c ice cubes
10 oz skim milk
1 Tbsp malted milk powder, such as carnation (look for sugar free)
1/4 c sugar free chocolate syrup
note: i found the sugar free at the grocer's in the organic section of the store.

Steps:

  • 1. In a large cocktail chaker, add the ice, milk, malt powder and chocolate syrup.
  • 2. Shake until foamy and strain int a tall glass.
  • 3. Serve immediately.
  • 4. NOTE: If using your blender omit the ice, blend ingredients and pour over ice placed in a tall glass.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate. This will make a big difference in the flavor of your milkshake. Look for a chocolate that is at least 70% cacao.
  • Use cold milk. This will help to make your milkshake thick and creamy.
  • Don't over-blend your milkshake. If you blend it too much, it will become thin and watery.
  • Add your favorite toppings. Whipped cream, chocolate chips, and sprinkles are all popular choices.
  • Enjoy your milkshake immediately! It's best when it's fresh.

Conclusion:

Chocolate malted milk shakes are a classic American treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They're easy to make and can be customized to your liking. So next time you're looking for a delicious and refreshing treat, give this recipe a try!
