2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 ounces German sweet chocolate, finely chopped
1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans, toasted
TOPPING:
12 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
4 teaspoons shortening
2-1/2 cups sweetened shredded coconut, toasted

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in German sweet chocolate, coconut and pecans. , Roll into 3/4-in. balls. 1 (10 ounce) package jet-puffed marshmallows
1 (7 ounce) container baker's dipping chocolate
5 cups post Honey Bunches of Oats cereal, with almonds

Steps:

  • Melt butter in large saucepan on low heat.
  • Add marshmallows; cook for 5 minutes or until marshmallows are melted and mixture is well blended, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in cereal.
  • Cool slightly.
