At our church; we feed the families who have lost a loved one in our church.One of our ladies brought this. I've never had one. It was delicious!!

Steps:
- 1. Pre-heat oven @ 350
- 2. In the oven put a 9x13 cake pan with the stick of butter to be melted.
- 3. In a sauce pan put the 3 cups of water and bring to a boil.
- 4. Bowl # 1: 1 1/2 cup of sugar..1 1/2 cup self rising flour...3/4 cup milk...vanilla. Mix all together.
- 5. Bowl # 2: 1 1/2 cups sugar....9 teaspoons coco powder...Mix
- 6. Pour flour mixture over the melted butter....Sprinkle coco and sugar over the top. Then pour the 3 cups of boiling water over the top.
- 7. bake @ 350 for 35-40 min.

- 1. Preheat oven to 350. In a 9x13 glass baking dish, melt the two sticks of butter in the oven for 5 minutes.
- 2. Meanwhile in a bowl, mix together the 1 1/4 cups of sugar, flour, vanilla, and milk.
- 3. Once the butter is melted, pour the batter over the butter, but do not stir.
- 4. In a separate bowl, mix together the cocoa and remaining sugar.
- 5. Sprinkle cocoa/sugar mixture on top of batter. Do not stir.
- 6. Pour the 2 cups of boiling water on top of that (don't stir).
- 7. Bake for 40-45 minutes. I bake mine until I have a nice golden brown crust.
