These take me back to my childhood. My mother would make these ahead of time and put in the freezer. We would raid the freezer and she'd end up having to make more! They are crunchy and yummy!

Tips for Making Chocodiles:

  • Use high-quality chocolate: The better the chocolate, the better the chocodiles will be. Look for chocolate with a high cocoa content (70% or higher) and a smooth, velvety texture.
  • Temper the chocolate: Tempering is a process of heating and cooling chocolate in a specific way to stabilize it. This makes the chocolate easier to work with and gives it a smooth, shiny finish.
  • Use a variety of fillings: Chocodiles can be filled with anything from nuts and fruits to ganache and caramel. Get creative and experiment with different flavors and textures.
  • Be patient: Making chocodiles takes time and patience. Don't rush the process, or you'll end up with subpar results.

Conclusion:

Chocodiles are a delicious and versatile treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. With a little time and effort, you can make chocodiles at home that are just as good as—if not better than—the ones you buy in the store. So what are you waiting for? Get started today!
