Tips:
- Choose the right bread bowl. A round loaf of bread with a sturdy crust works best. It should be large enough to hold the dip and have a wide opening so that people can easily scoop out the dip.
- Hollow out the bread bowl. Use a sharp knife to carefully cut a circle around the top of the bread bowl, then scoop out the bread crumbs. Leave about 1 inch of bread around the sides and bottom of the bowl.
- Brown the beef. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until it is browned and crumbly. Drain off any excess grease.
- Make the dip. In a large bowl, combine the browned beef, cream cheese, sour cream, onion soup mix, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until well combined.
- Fill the bread bowl. Pour the dip into the hollowed-out bread bowl. Top with shredded cheese and green onions.
- Bake the dip. Place the bread bowl on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve warm. Serve the dip warm with crackers, chips, or vegetables.
Conclusion:
Chipped beef dip in a bread bowl is an easy and delicious appetizer that is perfect for parties and gatherings. It is also a great way to use up leftover beef. With a few simple ingredients, you can create a dish that is sure to be a hit with everyone.
