Tips:
- Use high-quality ground beef for the best flavor. Ground chuck or sirloin are good choices.
- Don't overwork the beef mixture, or the burgers will be tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Form the beef mixture into patties that are about 1/2-inch thick. This will help them cook evenly.
- If you don't have a grill, you can cook the burgers in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the burgers until they are cooked through, but not overcooked. Overcooked burgers will be dry and tough.
- Top the burgers with your favorite toppings, such as cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion.
- Serve the burgers immediately on buns or rolls.
