Tips:

  • Use a good quality bread. A sturdy bread like sourdough or French bread will hold up better in the strata than a soft bread like white bread.
  • Use a variety of cheeses. A combination of sharp cheddar, Monterey Jack, and Parmesan cheese will give the strata a rich and flavorful taste.
  • Don't overcook the strata. The strata is done when the center is set and the top is golden brown. Overcooking will dry out the strata.
  • Serve the strata hot or cold. The strata can be served immediately after it is baked, or it can be chilled and served cold. Chilled strata is a great option for a make-ahead breakfast or lunch.

Conclusion:

Chili cheese strata is a delicious and easy-to-make breakfast casserole that is perfect for a crowd. It is a great way to use up leftover chili and cheese, and it can be served hot or cold. With a few simple tips, you can make a chili cheese strata that is sure to impress your family and friends.
