CHICKEN WITH GUAVA BUTTER GLAZE
I recently went to Maui and bought some guava butter. It inspired me to make this dish. It's not too sweet, with a kick of heat. It's healthy too! I think you could substitute a tablespoon of butter and add guava paste or your favorite jam as a variation. I know I don't normally have guava butter lying around.

Tips:
- Choose the right guava: For the best flavor, use ripe guavas that are slightly soft to the touch. Avoid guavas that are too hard or too soft, as they will not yield the best flavor.
- Use fresh ginger and garlic: Fresh ginger and garlic will give your dish a brighter, more flavorful taste. If you don't have fresh ginger or garlic on hand, you can use ground ginger and garlic powder, but the flavor will be less intense.
- Don't overcook the chicken: Overcooked chicken can be dry and tough. To ensure that your chicken is cooked perfectly, use an instant-read thermometer to check that it has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Make the glaze ahead of time: The guava butter glaze can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. This will save you time when you're ready to cook the chicken.
- Serve with your favorite sides: Chicken with guava butter glaze can be served with a variety of sides, such as rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables. You can also serve it with a side of dipping sauce, such as honey mustard or barbecue sauce.
Conclusion:
Chicken with guava butter glaze is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. The combination of sweet and savory flavors is sure to please everyone at your table. So next time you're looking for a new chicken recipe, give this one a try. You won't be disappointed!
