Add mushrooms to broth; stir in noodles, herbs, and reserved chicken. Simmer until noodles are tender, about 5 minutes. Season soup to taste with salt and pepper.

Tips for Making Rotisserie Chicken Soup:

  • Choose a high-quality rotisserie chicken: Look for a chicken that is plump and juicy, with no signs of dryness or freezer burn.
  • Remove the skin and bones from the chicken before adding it to the soup. This will help to reduce the fat and sodium content of the soup, and it will also make it easier to eat.
  • Use a variety of vegetables in your soup. This will add flavor and nutrition to the soup, and it will also make it more visually appealing.
  • Simmer the soup for at least 30 minutes. This will allow the flavors to develop and blend together.
  • Season the soup to taste with salt and pepper. You may also want to add other seasonings, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or dried herbs.
  • Serve the soup hot, garnished with fresh herbs or a dollop of sour cream.

Conclusion:

Rotisserie chicken soup is a delicious, easy, and nutritious meal that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It is a great way to use up leftover chicken, and it can also be made ahead of time and frozen for later use. Whether you are looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal or a comforting soup to warm you up on a cold day, rotisserie chicken soup is a great option.
