Time 55m

Yield 24 drumsticks

Number Of Ingredients 3

1 1/4 cups tortilla chips, finely crushed (I like Tostitos)
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning mix (gf if needed)
24 small chicken drumsticks

Steps:

  • With rack in center of oven, preheat to 350°F.
  • Lightly grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix together the chips and the seasoning mix.
  • Rinse the drumsticks in water and coat with the mixture.
  • Arrange in the prepared baking dish and bake for about 40 to 45 minutes or until crispy.

Tips:

  • Choose the right chicken drumsticks: Look for plump, evenly-sized drumsticks with no blemishes or discoloration.
  • Brine the chicken: Brining helps to keep the chicken moist and flavorful. You can use a simple brine made with water, salt, and sugar, or you can add herbs, spices, and other flavorings.
  • Use a variety of cooking methods: Chicken drumsticks can be grilled, roasted, baked, or fried. Each cooking method will give you a different flavor and texture.
  • Don't overcook the chicken: Chicken drumsticks are best when they are cooked through but still juicy. Overcooking will make them dry and tough.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce: Chicken drumsticks are delicious served with a variety of dipping sauces, such as barbecue sauce, honey mustard, or ranch dressing.

Conclusion:
