2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut crosswise into 1/2-inch-thick slices
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 1/2 pounds broccoli, stems peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick, florets separated
1 small lemon, halved lengthwise and thinly sliced crosswise, seeds removed
2 teaspoons cornstarch, dissolved in 1 tablespoon water
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

Steps:

  • In a large, shallow bowl, whisk together soy sauce, 3 tablespoons water, vinegar, honey, garlic, and crushed red pepper. Pour half of the mixture into another bowl; reserve. Place chicken in remaining mixture; let marinate 15 minutes.

Tips:

  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients: This will make a big difference in the flavor of your stir-fry.
  • Cut your vegetables and chicken into uniform pieces: This will help them cook evenly.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: If you overcrowd the pan, the vegetables will steam instead of stir-frying.
  • Cook the chicken and vegetables in batches if necessary: If you have a small pan, you may need to cook the chicken and vegetables in batches.
  • Stir-fry over high heat: This will help the vegetables stay crisp and prevent them from becoming soggy.
  • Add the sauce at the end of cooking: This will help prevent the sauce from burning.
  • Serve immediately: Stir-fry is best served immediately after it is cooked.

Conclusion:

Chicken, broccoli, and lemon stir-fry is a quick, easy, and delicious meal that is perfect for a busy weeknight. It is also a healthy meal that is packed with vegetables. If you are looking for a new and exciting stir-fry recipe, this one is definitely worth trying.
