Tips:

  • Mise en place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all of your ingredients and tools prepped and ready to go. This will help you stay organized and avoid any scrambling.
  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients: The fresher your ingredients, the better your dish will taste. Whenever possible, use organic or locally-sourced produce.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When sautéing, it's important to not overcrowd the pan. Otherwise, the vegetables will steam instead of brown.
  • Cook the chicken thoroughly: Make sure to cook the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. You can check this with a meat thermometer.
  • Season to taste: Don't be afraid to season your dish to taste. Add salt, pepper, and other spices to your liking.
  • Serve immediately: This dish is best served immediately after it is cooked. The rice will start to absorb the sauce and become mushy if you let it sit for too long.
