2 cups dry-roasted peanuts
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1 package (3 ounces) dried cherries ( 2/3 cup)
1 bag (12 ounces) white baking chips (2 cups)
1/4 cup half-and-half
1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Steps:

  • Toss cereal, pretzels, peanuts, marshmallows and cherries in large bowl.
  • Heat baking chips and half-and-half in 2-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently, until chips are melted. Stir in almond extract.

4 cups Chocolate Chex™ cereal
1/4 cup butter
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups chocolate-covered malted milk balls
1/2 cup white vanilla baking chips

Steps:

  • Line large rimmed baking pan with waxed paper. In small bowl, mix powdered sugar, malted milk powder and baking cocoa; set aside. In large microwavable bowl, add cereals.
  • In small microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High 20 to 30 seconds or until melted. Stir in granulated sugar; microwave uncovered on High 30 to 60 seconds or until sugar is almost dissolved. Pour over cereal, stirring until evenly coated.
  • Microwave uncovered on High 3 to 4 minutes, stirring after every minute, until well coated and slightly toasted; transfer to 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag. Add powdered sugar mixture to bag with cereal; seal bag, and shake to coat thoroughly. Spread in pan; cool completely, about 20 minutes.

2 c chex corn cereal
2 c chex rice cereal
2 c chex wheat cereal
1 c dry roasted peanuts
1 c semi sweet chocolate chips
1/4 c butter or margarine
1 c malt powder (natural flavor)
2 c mini marshmallows
1 1/2 c malted milk balls (chopped)
1/2 c dried cherries (chopped)

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl mix the 3 cereals and dry peanuts. Use as 1 quart microwavable bowl and microwave the chocolate chips and butter on high for approx 1 minute. Stir until smooth, if needed microwave in 30 second intervals until smooth. Pour this mixture over the cereal and peanuts until coated evenly. Gradually stir in the malt powder until mixture is coated evenly. Stir in the remaining indgredients (mini marshmallows, chopped malted milk balls and chopped dried cherries).
