Tips:
- Use fresh or frozen cherries: Fresh cherries are best, but frozen cherries can be used as well. If using frozen cherries, thaw them before using.
- Pit the cherries: Use a cherry pitter to remove the pits from the cherries. If you don't have a cherry pitter, you can use a knife to cut around the pit and then pop it out.
- Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will make the bread tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the bread until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean: This will ensure that the bread is cooked through.
- Let the bread cool before slicing: This will help to prevent the bread from crumbling.
