Time 10m

Number Of Ingredients 9

8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1 can(s) sweetened condensed milk
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 can(s) cherry pie filling
1/2 c pineapple tidbits, drained
1/2 c mandarin oranges, drained
1/2 c finely chopped pecans
8 oz non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
cherries for garnish

Steps:

  • 1. Using an electric mixer, combine cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice until smooth.
  • 2. Using a spatula, gently fold in remaining ingredients.
  • 3. Garnish with cherries or as desired. Chill for at least an hour or until serving time (it will thicken as it chills).

Tips:

  • Choose fresh, ripe cherries: Look for cherries that are plump, brightly colored, and have smooth skin.
  • Pit the cherries before using: You can use a cherry pitter or a knife to remove the pits.
  • Use a light hand when mixing the salad: Over-mixing can cause the salad to become too mushy.
  • Chill the salad before serving: This will help the flavors to meld and the salad will be more refreshing.
  • Serve the salad with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream: This will add a touch of sweetness and richness to the salad.

Conclusion:

Cherry salad fluff is a light, refreshing, and delicious dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. Whether you like it sweet, tart, or somewhere in between, there is a cherry salad fluff recipe out there for you.
