I love this pretzel dessert. My aunt makes it every year at Thanksgiving and Christmas. It works great with strawberry and blueberry pie filling as well.

  • For a sweeter treat, use dark chocolate pretzels or add a layer of chocolate chips between the pretzel and cream cheese layers.
  • If you don't have a springform pan, you can use a 9x13 inch baking dish. Just be sure to press the pretzel crust firmly into the bottom of the dish so that it doesn't crumble.
  • To make sure the cream cheese layer is smooth and lump-free, be sure to beat the cream cheese and sugar together until they are light and fluffy.
