- Add eggs, one at a time, and vanilla.
- Sift flour with baking powder and salt.

- Place remaining dough by spoonfuls over filling.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.

Tips:
- Use fresh cherries. Fresh cherries will give your Cherry Pecan Slices the best flavor. If you can't find fresh cherries, you can use frozen cherries that have been thawed and drained.
- Pit the cherries. Before you use the cherries, you need to pit them. You can do this with a cherry pitter or a paring knife. If you're using a cherry pitter, be sure to remove all of the pits. If you're using a paring knife, cut around the cherry pit and then remove it.
- Chop the pecans. You can chop the pecans by hand or in a food processor. If you're chopping them by hand, be sure to chop them finely.
- Line the baking pan with parchment paper. This will help to prevent the Cherry Pecan Slices from sticking to the pan.
- Bake the Cherry Pecan Slices until they are golden brown. This will take about 20 minutes.
- Let the Cherry Pecan Slices cool before cutting them. This will help to prevent them from falling apart.
Conclusion:
Cherry Pecan Slices are a delicious and easy-to-make treat. They're perfect for any occasion, and they're sure to be a hit with your friends and family. So next time you're looking for a sweet and satisfying snack, give Cherry Pecan Slices a try. You won't be disappointed!
