CHOCOLATE CHERRY NUGGETS
Dawn is right! Move over chocolate covered cherries, this is one good cookie. When you combine all the ingredients, the flavors work so well together. I especially like the addition of pecans ... it gives each bite a little crunch.

CHERRY NUT CAKE
My grandmother made up this recipe for her children. Using Ozark-grown cherries and walnuts, she invented one they all liked. Granny always used cream from the dairy farm near her home, but the half-and half works well and is easier to find. -Diana Jennings, Lebanon, Missouri

Tips:
- Choose the right cherries: Fresh, ripe cherries are essential for this recipe. Look for cherries that are plump and have a deep red color. Avoid cherries that are bruised or have soft spots.
- Pit the cherries: Use a cherry pitter to remove the pits from the cherries. If you don't have a cherry pitter, you can use a paring knife to cut around the pit and remove it.
- Use a food processor: A food processor makes it easy to chop the nuts and cherries. If you don't have a food processor, you can use a knife to chop the nuts and cherries by hand.
- Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing the dough will make the nuggets tough. Mix the dough just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the nuggets until they are golden brown: The nuggets are done baking when they are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Conclusion:
Cherry Nut Nuggets are a delicious and easy-to-make snack or breakfast treat. They are perfect for any occasion, and they are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
