CHERRY MOJITOS
Steps:
- (Do this a couple of hours ahead of time- or longer- so that it has time to chill). > Boil water, add sugar and stir until dissolved. Let cool, then chill in the refrigerator until it has a chance to get very cold.
- In a blender or food processor, blend the chilled simple syrup and cherries. Pour through a strainer, discard the cherry pulp and keep the sweetened cherry juice.
- Place 4 to 5 mint leaves in the bottom of 4 to 6 tall glasses. Squeeze half a lime into each glass. Add 2 ounces of rum to each glass. Use a muddler (or the handle of a wooden spoon) to smash the mint leaves, lime juice and rum together. Divide the sweetened cherry juice between the four glasses. Top each drink off with chilled club soda. Stir, garnish with fresh cherries and serve. Add an ice cube or two, if desired.

CHERRY LIME MOJITO
This mojito will be fantastic at any summer party. It's slightly sweet, tangy and very refreshing thanks to the fresh mint. You taste the rum in this adult beverage, but it's not overpowering. A great cocktail for warmer nights.

Steps:
- 1. Gather ingredients.
- 2. Place the mint and lime wedges in a glass and using a wooden spoon "muddle" together.
- 3. Add cherry juice to the glass.
- 4. Add sparkling water (or Sprite if you want it to be super sweet). Put ice in the glass.
- 5. Add clear rum and give a gentle stir or two.
- 6. Garnish with sliced lime, a cherry or two and a few mint leaves for an elegant presentation.
- 7. It is possible to increase the ingredients on this drink and make them in a pitcher, but I highly recommend against it. The flavor combinations don't come out quite right poured compared to individually mixed.
Tips:
- Use fresh limes for the best flavor. Limes that are too old will be less juicy and flavorful.
- If you don't have simple syrup, you can make your own by dissolving 1 cup of sugar in 1 cup of boiling water. Let the syrup cool completely before using.
- If you don't have club soda, you can use sparkling water or ginger ale instead.
- Garnish your mojitos with a lime wedge and a sprig of mint for a refreshing presentation.
- For a sweeter mojito, add an extra 1/2 ounce of simple syrup.
- For a more tart mojito, add an extra 1/2 ounce of lime juice.
- For a non-alcoholic mojito, omit the rum.
Conclusion:
The cherry lime mojito is a refreshing and flavorful cocktail that is perfect for any occasion. With its combination of sweet, sour, and minty flavors, this mojito is sure to please everyone. So next time you're looking for a delicious and easy-to-make cocktail, give the cherry lime mojito a try. You won't be disappointed!
