CHERRY FLUFF
I tried this after having a Pistachio dessert made the same way. I just love cherries and tried it this way. Steps:
- 1. Cut cherries in half. I usually use 2 jars but it is each person's taste. Keep juice you will add a little bit at the end to make the color more red.
- 2. In large bowl mix cool whip and dried cherry gelatin powder. Taste to make sure not to gritty or over powering.
- 3. Add marshmallows and cherries to cool whip mix. Add 1/3 jar of cherry juice to give more of a red color. You can serve right away or refrigerate for half hour before serving to have the cool taste.
- 4. Refrigerate leftovers. Stays good for 4 days.
Tips:
- For the fluffiest results, whip the cream until it forms stiff peaks.
- To make the fluff ahead of time, prepare it as directed and then refrigerate it for up to 24 hours. Before serving, let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- If you don't have fresh cherries, you can use frozen or canned cherries. Just be sure to drain them well before adding them to the fluff.
- You can also add other fruits to the fluff, such as berries, peaches, or pineapple.
- For a more decadent dessert, top the fluff with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream.
Conclusion:
Cherry fruit fluff is a light and refreshing dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized to your liking. So next time you are looking for a delicious and summery dessert, give cherry fruit fluff a try.
