FILLING:
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling

¾ cup heavy cream

2 cups all purpose flour
3 tbsp sugar
1 cup margarine
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
FOR THE CRUST

Steps:

  • 1. Melt margarine and add all ingredients. Press into a 9"X13" pan and bake @ 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool
  • 2. For the filling: 2 pkts of dream whip 1 tsp. vanilla 8 oz. cream cheese 1 cup milk 1 cup confec. sugar one can cherry pie filling Mix dream whip, vanilla and milk until thick. Add conf. sugar and cream cheese and blend well. Put into crust and chill. Top with one can of cherry pie filling. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

THE CRUST
2 c graham cracker crumbs
1/2 c butter, melted
1/4 c sugar
THE FILLING
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1 c powdered sugar
1 c heavy whipping cream
THE TOPPING
1 can(s) cherry pie filling

  • 1. To make the crust, mix graham cracker crumbs, butter, and sugar together. Press into a 7 x 11 glass baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees, for 8 minutes. Cool crust completely. (may refrigerate while preparing filling)
  • 2. To make the filling, in a large bowl mix the cream cheese and the powdered sugar together. In another bowl, beat the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  • 3. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture. Then spread evenly across the graham cracker crust.
  • 4. Next, spread the cherry pie filling evenly across the top. Best if made the day before, and refrigerate overnight.

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
2 tablespoons milk
