- Preheat oven to 375°. Reserve 3 tablespoons cherries for topping. For filling, beat cream cheese, sugar and extract until smooth. Stir in 3/4 cup pecans and remaining cherries., On a lightly floured surface, unroll crescent dough into one long rectangle; press perforations to seal. Fold dough lengthwise in half; roll into an 18x12-in. rectangle. Spread filling over top to within 1 in. of edges. Roll up tightly jelly-roll style, starting with a long side; pinch seam to seal., Transfer to a greased baking sheet, seam side down; shape into a ring, pinching ends to seal. Using kitchen scissors, start at outside edge and cut two-thirds of the way through the ring at 1-in. intervals. Separate sections slightly and twist to show filling., Bake until golden brown, 20-30 minutes. - Put butter in 8 inch round micro safe dish.
- Micro on high 30-45 seconds til melted.
- Sprinkle sugar over butter.
- Add corn syrup stirring well.
- Place a GLASS drinking glass in the center of the dish.
- Sprinkle pecans and cherries around the outside of glass.
- Arrange biscuits over topping in a petal fashion. Squeeze to fit if needed.
- Micro on medium 6-8 minutes, turning 1/2 turn after 3 minutes.
- Remove glass and invert on serving plate.
- Let dish stand a few minutes for topping to drizzle over rolls.
- Serve warm.

- 1. Place butter in a 9" round glass deep-dish pie plate. Microwave on high for 30 seconds to 1 minute, until butter is melted.
- 2. Sprinkle brown sugar over butter. Add corn syrup (or Agave nectar) and stir well. Place a small microwave safe drinking glass (NOT a paper cup), right side up in the center of the pie plate.
- 3. Arrange pecan halves and maraschino cherries around the glass. Arrange the buttermilk buscuits around the glass, squeezing to fit.
- 4. Microwave at medium (50% power) 5 to 8 minutes, rotating dish 1/2 a turn after 3 minutes. Remove glass and invert ring onto a serving plate. Let stand several minutes to let the pie "sauce" drip out of the pie plate. Remove pie plate. Enjoy! Best served warm.

- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Grease cookie sheet.
- Reserve 5 cherries and chop remaining.
- In small bowl, combine chopped cherries, cream cheese, almonds, sugar and almond extract; mix well. Set aside.
- Separate each can crescent dough into 2 large rectangles. Overlap long sides of 4 rectangles and firmly press edges and perforations to seal.
- Roll or pat out to form a rectangle about 15X13 inches.
- Spread cherry mixture over dough.
- Starting at longer side, roll up, pressing edges to seal.
- On greased cookie sheet, place seam side down. Form into a ring, firmly pressing ends together.
- With a sharp knife, cut almost through ring at 1-inch intervals. Turn each section slightly on its side.
- Bake at 375 for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. If necessary, cover with foil during last 5 minute to prevent excessive browning.
- In small bowl, combine all glaze ingredients; mix well.\.
- Drizzle warm coffeecake with glaze. Garnish with sliced amonds and reserved cherries.

QUICK CARAMEL COFFEE RING

Steps:
- 1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- 2. In small saucepan, melt margarine (or butter). Coat bottom and side of ungreased 12 cup fluted tube pan with 2 tablsppons of the melted margarine/butter.
- 3. Sprinkle 3 tablesppons of the nuts over bottom of prepared pan.
- 4. Add remaining nuts, brown sugar and water to remaining margarine/butter; heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
- 5. Separate dough into 20 biscuits; cut each biscuit in half and shape into a ball. Place 20 balls in bottom of prepared pan. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over balls. Repeat layers.
- 6. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or untill golden brown. Invert immediately onto waxed paper and remove from pan.
- 7. Good served warm. Can be pulled apart or sliced.
Tips:
- For a richer caramel flavor, use dark brown sugar instead of light brown sugar.
- If you don't have a ring mold, you can use a bundt pan instead.
- Be sure to grease and flour the pan before adding the batter, to prevent sticking.
