Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use fresh, ripe cherries. If fresh cherries are not available, frozen cherries can be used. Be sure to thaw the cherries and drain them well before using.
  • Do not overbeat the cake batter. Overbeating can make the cake tough.
  • Bake the cake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Overbaking can make the cake dry.
  • Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting it. This will help prevent the frosting from melting.
  • For the best results, use a high-quality chocolate for the frosting. A good quality chocolate will give the frosting a rich, decadent flavor.
  • If you do not have marshmallow fluff on hand, you can make your own by melting 1 cup of marshmallows with 1/4 cup of milk in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until the marshmallows are completely melted.

Conclusion:

This cherry cake with chocolate marshmallow frosting is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that is perfect for any occasion. The cake is moist and flavorful, and the frosting is rich and decadent. This cake is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
