CHEESY MINUTE/SANDWICH STEAK CASSEROLE
Super cheesy, stick to your ribs, definitely NOT a diet dish. Fairly quick to make...kids LOVE it. My b/f came up with this one night when all we had in the freezer were some minute/sandwich steaks. I have 30 minutes for prep time but I've seen him toss this together in half that time. The kids don't like chopped green peppers but I think they would be great in this dish. Also great for covered dish suppers.

Tips:
- For the best flavor, use a high-quality steak. A ribeye or strip steak is a good choice.
- Be sure to slice the steak thinly against the grain. This will help it cook evenly and tenderize it.
- Don't overcrowd the pan when cooking the steak. If you do, the steak will steam instead of sear.
- Cook the steak over medium-high heat until it is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing it. This will help the juices redistribute and make the steak more tender.
- Use a variety of vegetables in your casserole. This will add flavor and texture.
- Don't be afraid to experiment with different cheeses. A sharp cheddar or a creamy Gruyère are both good choices.
- Serve the casserole immediately after it is baked. This will ensure that the cheese is melted and gooey.
