Time 25m

Yield 1 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

1/2 cup Spam (a quarter of a can)
2 eggs
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
1 tablespoon butter

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400F; put the butter into a single serving oven proof dish and place in oven until the butter is melted.
  • Dice the Spam and mix with all the remaining ingredients, being sure to stir out most of the lumps.
  • Pour into the dish and bake for 20 minutes.

Tips:

  • Use a sharp knife to cut the spam. This will help to prevent it from tearing and will give you clean, even slices.
  • Do not overcook the spam. Spam is already cooked, so you only need to heat it through. Overcooking will make it tough and rubbery.
  • Use a good quality cheese. The cheese you use will make a big difference in the flavor of the dish. Use a cheese that melts well and has a strong flavor, such as cheddar, mozzarella, or provolone.
  • Be careful not to overfill the puff pastry shells. They should be filled about two-thirds full, or they will burst open in the oven.
  • Bake the puffs until they are golden brown. This will take about 15-20 minutes.

Conclusion:

Cheesy spam puffs are a quick and easy appetizer or snack that is sure to please a crowd. They are made with just a few simple ingredients and can be customized to your liking. Whether you like your puffs spicy or mild, cheesy or gooey, there is a recipe out there for you. So next time you are looking for a fun and easy snack, give cheesy spam puffs a try!
