1/2 lb breakfast sausage links
8 slices bacon
1 small onion, minced
1 sweet green pepper, minced
1 frozen deep dish pie shell
1 1/4 cups milk
2 eggs
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
2 1/4 cups grated cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • In skillet cook the sausage links 4 or 5 minutes, until cooked through.
  • Remove sausage; drain the fat.
  • Wipe skillet then add bacon.
  • Cook until crispy; remove, leaving only 1 tablespoon of fat.
  • Sauté onion and pepper in fat for 12 minutes, until softened.
  • Crumble the bacon slices and slice the sausage links.
  • In pie shell, layer with the cheese, bacon, onion, green pepper and sausage.
  • In bowl, whisk together milk, eggs and flour.
  • Pour over layered pie.
  • Bake for 45-60 minutes until set, then cool for about 1/2 hour.

1 onion, diced
6 eggs
½ cup milk
¼ cup mayonnaise
2 cups shredded pepperjack cheese

¼ cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Press pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish.

1 lb ground sausage
1 sliced onion
1/3 cup green pepper, chopped (optional)
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon flour
2 beaten eggs
1 cup evaporated milk
1 tablespoon parsley
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3/4 teaspoon seasoning salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1 unbaked pie shell

Steps:

  • Brown sausage and drain then rinse with hot water to remove excess fat.
  • Place sliced onion in drippings from sausage and cook until onions are translucent.
  • Remove and blot in paper towel to remove excess fat.
  • Mix sausage and cheese with green pepper (optional) and add flour and mix until coated with flour.
  • Place in unbaked pie shell.
  • Place onions ontop of quiche.
  • Mix spices with beaten egg and add evaporated milk, and stir.
  • Pour milk mixture evenly over the quiche.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until quiche is set.

1/2 c onion, thinly sliced
1/3 c green pepper, chopped
1 1/2 c sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 Tbsp flour
1 deep dish pie shell
2 eggs
1 c evaporated milk
1 Tbsp parsley flakes
3/4 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In med. skillet fry sausage until done. Drain,reserve 2 Tblsp.fat. Saute onion & green pepper in fat about 3 min. Slice sausage
  • 2. Combine cheese & flour. Stir in sausage with green peppers & onions. Spread in pie shell.
  • 3. Mix remaining ingredients & pour into shell.
  • 4. Bake on cookie sheet 35 to 40 min. until browned & filling is set. Enjoy!!!
