16 uncooked lasagna noodles
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 package (20 oz) ground turkey
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 jar (25.5 oz) Muir Glen™ organic Italian herb pasta sauce
2 boxes (9 oz each) frozen spinach, thawed, squeezed to drain
1 cup shredded carrot, if desired
1 container (15 oz) whole milk ricotta cheese
2 eggs
1 jar (25.5 oz) Muir Glen™ organic Italian herb pasta sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)
1/2 cup julienne-cut fresh basil leaves

Steps:

  • In 5-quart Dutch oven, cook lasagna noodles as directed on package. Drain; rinse with hot water. Drain well.
  • Meanwhile, in 12-inch nonstick skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add turkey, garlic and Italian seasoning; cook 5 to 6 minutes, stirring frequently, until turkey is no longer pink. Stir in 1 jar pasta sauce; heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Transfer to medium bowl; cool 10 minutes.

  • Place frozen rolls in two labeled 1-gallon airtight freezer bags. Freeze up to 3 months.
  • To bake 16 lasagna roll-ups, spray two 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dishes with cooking spray. Remove roll-ups from freezer bag; place 8 in each baking dish. Cover with foil; thaw in refrigerator at least 8 hours but no longer than 24 hours.

Remove foil; sprinkle each dish with 1 cup mozzarella cheese; bake 3 to 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Top with basil.

Time 1h30m

Yield 6

Number Of Ingredients 22

3 tablespoons butter
2 bunches fresh asparagus spears, cut in half crossways
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ red onion, chopped
1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon soy sauce
½ cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon garlic salt, or to taste
1 tablespoon garlic and herb seasoning blend (such as Mrs. Dash®)
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 (1/2 pound) beef cube steaks (tenderized beef round)
2 teaspoons garlic salt, or to taste
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon garlic and herb seasoning blend (such as Mrs. Dash®)
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup sauerkraut, drained
3 slices American cheese, torn into pieces
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, divided
½ cup sour cream
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 slice American cheese

Steps:

  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in the asparagus, 3 minced cloves of garlic, red onion, red wine vinegar, soy sauce, chicken broth, 1 teaspoon garlic salt, 1 tablespoon garlic herb seasoning blend, and 1 teaspoon black pepper. Cover and simmer until the asparagus is tender, stirring once, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Season both sides of the steaks with the remaining 2 teaspoons garlic salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, and 1 tablespoon garlic and herb seasoning blend. Spread the Dijon mustard evenly on one side of each steak, then top with the remaining 2 minced cloves of garlic. Divide the sauerkraut evenly over the steaks, then arrange 3 to 4 pieces of asparagus on top. Spread 3 torn slices American cheese over the asparagus, then spoon about 3 tablespoonfuls of the cream of mushroom soup on top. Roll each steak up like a jelly roll and place in a casserole dish. Distribute the remaining asparagus spears around the rolled steaks.
  • Place the remaining cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, and 1 slice American cheese into a blender. Cover, and puree until smooth. Pour the soup mixture over the steaks and asparagus. Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the meat is beginning to firm, and is hot and slightly pink in the center, about 45 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 140 degrees F (60 degrees C).

CHEESY HERB CHICKEN CRESCENT ROLL UPS

Cheesy Herb Chicken Crescent Roll Ups image

My spin on a popular chicken roll up recipe. You can use any type of cheese you like for this dish. I used Colby/Monterrey Jack Mix.

Provided by Sharonne Jacobs

Categories     Casseroles

Time 1h5m

Number Of Ingredients 13

2 can(s) pillsbury crescent dinner rolls
1 can(s) cream of chicken with herbs soup
1 c colby/monterrey jack cheese mix, shredded
1/2 c milk
FILLING
4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
2 Tbsp butter, soft
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 can(s) mushroom pieces
3 tsp onion flakes, dehydrated
1 bag(s) chicken breast strips, finely chopped
2 c colby/monterrey jack cheese mix, shredded
2 Tbsp milk

Steps:

  • 1. Set oven at 350. Spray a 9X13 dish with cooking spray (I prefer Butter Flavor PAM). Have cream cheese and butter sitting out to soften while you prepare the chicken and soup mixture
  • 2. Mix together in a bowl: milk, 1 cup colby/monterrey jack cheese, and undiluted cream of chicken with herbs soup. Sit to the side
  • 3. Cook chicken in skillet and season to taste with garlic pepper or your favorite seasoning (i.e. seasoning salt, salt and pepper). Finely chop chicken strips and sit to the side.
  • 4. For filling -- In a bowl mix the soft cream cheese and butter until very smooth, then add in garlic powder. Add in the chopped chicken, mushroom pieces, onion flakes, and cheese; mix well until combined. Add in 2 tablespoons milk; mix to combine (add a little more if the mixture seems too dry).
  • 5. Unroll crescent rolls. Place 1-2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture on top of each crescent triangle, then roll up starting at the larger end.
  • 6. Pour a small amount of soup mixture on the bottom of the dish, just enough to cover. Then place the crescent rolls seam-side down on top of the soup mixture in the dish.
  • 7. Pour the remaning soup mixture on top and sprinkle with 1 cup or more grated cheese or amount desired. Bake for 35 minutes.

Tips:

  • For a crispier roll-up, use puff pastry dough that has been thawed and rolled out thinly.
  • If you don't have a rolling pin, you can use a wine bottle or even a glass to roll out the dough.
  • Be sure to brush the edges of the dough with water before folding it over, this will help to seal the edges and prevent the filling from leaking out.
  • To make sure the roll-ups are cooked evenly, bake them in a preheated oven.
  • If you are using a cheese that is prone to melting, such as cheddar or mozzarella, be sure to chill the roll-ups before baking them. This will help to prevent the cheese from melting out.

Conclusion:

Cheesy roll-ups are a delicious and easy-to-make snack or appetizer. They are perfect for parties or potlucks. With a few simple ingredients, you can create a tasty treat that everyone will love. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy snack, give cheesy roll-ups a try. You won't be disappointed.
