Tips for the Perfect Cheesy Potato and Sharp Cheddar Hash

- Choose the right potatoes. Look for firm, starchy potatoes such as Yukon Gold, Russet, or Red potatoes. These potatoes will hold their shape well during cooking and won't become mushy. - Cut the potatoes into small, even-sized cubes. This will help them cook evenly. - Season the potatoes liberally with salt and pepper. This will help to enhance their flavor. - Use a well-seasoned cast-iron skillet or nonstick skillet. This will help to prevent the potatoes from sticking. - Cook the potatoes over medium-high heat until they are browned and crispy. This will take about 15-20 minutes. - Add the chopped onion and bell pepper and cook until they are softened. This will take about 5-7 minutes. - Stir in the cooked bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and parsley. Cook until the cheese is melted and bubbly. - Serve immediately with your favorite toppings, such as sour cream, salsa, or guacamole.

Conclusion

Cheesy potato and sharp cheddar hash is a delicious and easy-to-make breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's perfect for using up leftover potatoes and bacon. This versatile dish can be customized to your liking by adding different vegetables, cheeses, and seasonings. So get creative and experiment until you find your perfect combination.
