Tips for Making the Best Cheesy French Onion Chicken:

  • Use high-quality ingredients. The better the ingredients, the better the dish will taste. Use fresh, organic vegetables and free-range chicken.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan. When searing the chicken, make sure to leave enough space between the pieces so that they can brown evenly.
  • Cook the chicken until it is cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Use a good quality cheese. The cheese is one of the most important ingredients in this dish, so make sure to use a cheese that you love. A sharp cheddar or Gruyère cheese works well.
  • Broil the chicken until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Keep an eye on the chicken while it is broiling so that it does not burn.
