Steps:
- 1. In a baking dish 9x12x2 put raw chicken breast in the bottom of pan. Add 1 slice of swiss cheese on top of each breast. Set aside.
- 2. In a saucepan add soup, milk, broth, and cream cheese. Cook on low until smooth and creamy. Pour over chicken breasts.
- 3. In a medium mixing bowl, add the stuffing. Melt the oleo and pour over top. Mix well and pour evenly over chicken.
- 4. Cover with Tin foil and bake at 325 for 1 hour. Remove from oven. Take tin foil off and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until topping is lightly browned.
Tips:
- Use a variety of cheeses. This will give the dish a more complex flavor. Some good options include cheddar, mozzarella, Parmesan, and fontina.
- Don't overcook the chicken. Overcooked chicken is dry and tough. Cook it just until it is cooked through, about 10 minutes per side.
- Make sure the sauce is thick and creamy. A thin sauce will not coat the chicken well and will make the dish watery. If the sauce is too thin, simmer it for a few minutes until it thickens.
- Serve the dish over pasta, rice, or vegetables. This will help to soak up the delicious sauce.
Conclusion:
Cheesy chicken supreme is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. It is made with simple ingredients and can be customized to your liking. So next time you are looking for a quick and tasty meal, give this recipe a try!
