CHEESEBURGER PITA
David came up with this recipe yesterday for our oldest son's return from Band Camp. Our son said the camp food was something akin to packing materials and was nothing but sheer torture! In honor of our son the family burger fiend and since David was making pita pizzas anyway, he decided to combine the two into this recipe. Needless to say, our son absolutely devoured the cheeseburger pita and asked for more the next day. We hope you all enjoy it as much as he did! (But do try to eat it a little more slowly, okay? ;D)

Tips:
- Prepare the Ingredients: Before you start cooking, make sure all the ingredients are ready. Dice the tomatoes, onions, and pickles, and grate the cheese.
- Cook the Ground Beef: Use a large skillet to brown the ground beef over medium heat. Break it up into small pieces as it cooks. Drain off any excess grease.
- Season the Beef: Once the beef is cooked, season it with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. You can also add other spices, such as chili powder or cumin, to taste.
- Toast the Pita Bread: While the beef is cooking, toast the pita bread in a toaster oven or on a griddle. This will make it crispy and help it hold all the ingredients.
