CHEESEBURGER NACHOS

Time 15m

Yield 8 servings

Number Of Ingredients 7

3 cups sesame bagel chips
8 slices American cheese
8 ounces ground beef, browned and seasoned with salt and pepper
1 small red onion, diced
1 cup dill-pickle chips
2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
Ketchup and mustard, for garnish

Steps:

  • Preheat the broiler to high. Line a baking sheet with foil and spread the bagel chips on top. Cover with the cheese, then scatter the beef over the top.
  • Broil until the cheese begins to melt, bubble and brown.
  • Garnish with the onions, pickles and lettuce. Drizzle the top with squirts of ketchup and mustard. Serve immediately.

Tips:

  • Choose the right chips: Sturdy chips that can hold up to the weight of the toppings are best. Tortilla chips, potato chips, or even wonton wrappers can be used.
  • Layer the ingredients: Start with a layer of chips, then add the cheese, followed by the meat, and finally the toppings. This will help to ensure that the cheese is melted and the toppings are evenly distributed.
  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh vegetables, fruits, and herbs will add flavor and texture to your nachos. Try using a variety of toppings, such as tomatoes, onions, peppers, black beans, corn, and cilantro.
  • Don't overload the nachos: Too many toppings will make the nachos soggy and difficult to eat. Add just enough toppings to cover the chips without overcrowding them.
  • Serve immediately: Nachos are best served hot and fresh. If you're making them ahead of time, keep them in a warm oven or microwave until ready to serve.

Conclusion:

Cheeseburger nachos are a fun and easy appetizer or snack that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They're perfect for parties, game days, or movie nights. With a few simple tips, you can make the best cheeseburger nachos that will be a hit with everyone.
