COREY'S STEAK, CHEESE, AND MUSHROOM SUBS
At lease once a week my family enjoys these subs. Shaved steak, sharp American cheese, fresh mushrooms on soft toasted scala sub rolls, and I serve them with steak fries with chicken gravy and bread n' butter pickles...and an ice cold beer for the adults. Add ketchup or any veggies like green leafy lettuce, fresh tomatoes, mayo, or blue cheese dressing. We like ours with a squirt of ketchup on the side for dipping. Enjoy!

VEGETARIAN MUSHROOM PHILLY CHEESE STEAK SANDWICHES
With a satisfying chew and complex flavors, this is going to be a big hit with anyone. Best when served hot, but also a yummy lunchbox choice because melting the cheese on the bread keeps it from getting soggy. If you like, add potato chips and a dill pickle on the side.

- Transfer to a warm serving platter and sprinkle with parsley.
- Add flour to cooking liquid.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constanly 3 minutes or until thickened.
- Serve steak immediately with sauce.
Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the dish will taste. Choose a good quality steak, mushrooms, and cheese.
- Cook the steak to your desired doneness: If you like your steak rare, cook it for about 2 minutes per side. For medium-rare, cook it for about 3 minutes per side. For medium, cook it for about 4 minutes per side. For medium-well, cook it for about 5 minutes per side. And for well-done, cook it for about 6 minutes per side.
- Use a good quality cheese: A good quality cheese will melt smoothly and have a rich flavor. Some good choices include cheddar, Swiss, and mozzarella.
- Don't overcrowd the pan: If you overcrowd the pan, the steak and mushrooms will not cook evenly. Cook the steak and mushrooms in batches if necessary.
- Season the steak and mushrooms well: Season the steak and mushrooms with salt, pepper, and any other desired spices before cooking.
- Let the steak rest before serving: Letting the steak rest before serving allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more tender and flavorful steak.
Conclusion:
This cheese mushroom steak is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The steak is cooked to perfection and the mushrooms and cheese add a rich and flavorful sauce. Serve this dish with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a green salad.
