Tips:

  • Choose high-quality ingredients: Use fresh, high-quality cheese, frankfurters, and buns to ensure the best flavor.
  • Shred your own cheese: Freshly shredded cheese melts better and provides a more consistent texture than pre-shredded cheese.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When cooking the frankfurters, make sure to leave enough space between them so that they can cook evenly.
  • Use a cast-iron skillet: A cast-iron skillet is the best choice for cooking cheese frankfurters because it retains heat well and provides an evenly cooked crust.
  • Don't overcook the frankfurters: Overcooked frankfurters will become tough and chewy. Cook them just until they are heated through.
  • Serve immediately: Cheese frankfurters are best served hot and fresh out of the skillet.
