  • In a large bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cinnamon walnuts, apples, and cheese. Add the eggs, melted butter or margarine, and milk; stir until well blended. Pour into prepared loaf pan.

Tips:

  • When choosing apples for the kabobs, select firm, crisp varieties such as Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or Pink Lady. These apples will hold their shape well on the kabobs and provide a nice contrast to the savory cheddarwurst.
  • If you don't have cheddarwurst, you can substitute another type of smoked sausage, such as kielbasa or bratwurst.
  • Be sure to preheat your grill to medium-high heat before cooking the kabobs. This will help to prevent the food from sticking to the grates.
  • Cook the kabobs for 10-12 minutes, or until the sausage is cooked through and the apples are tender.
  • Serve the kabobs with your favorite dipping sauce, such as honey mustard, barbecue sauce, or ranch dressing.

Conclusion:

Cheddarwurst and apple kabobs are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or main course. They are perfect for parties, potlucks, or summer cookouts. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a dish that everyone will love.
