12 slices bread
2 cups cut-up cooked smoked ham (about 10 oz)

Steps:

1 1/2 cups 2% milk
2 tablespoons chopped fresh or freeze-dried chives
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar

3 cups 2% milk
