3 tablespoons butter
1 cup sliced onion
1 (8.5 ounce) package corn bread mix
½ cup milk
1 cup cream-style corn
1 dash hot pepper sauce
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray one 10x10 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • ina medium skillet, saute onions in butter over medium heat until soft; set aside.
  • In a medium sized bowl, combine corn muffin mix, milk, corn and hot sauce.
  • Pour cornbread into baking dish and layer with onions, followed by sour cream and cheese.

2 packages (one 16 ounces, one 12 ounces) frozen corn, thawed
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, cubed
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • In a 3- or 4-qt. slow cooker, combine all ingredients. Cook, covered, on low 3 to 3-1/2 hours or until cheese is melted and corn is tender. Stir just before serving.

1/4 lb butter (1 stick)
1 large onion, chopped
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 (15 ounce) can creamed corn
1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn, including liquid
1 box Jiffy corn muffin mix
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 pint sour cream
4 ounces cheddar cheese, grated

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Saute onion and green pepper in butter.
  • Add eggs, creamed corn can, corn and liquid, Jiffy mix, salt, sour cream and cheddar cheese.
  • Pour into a 9x13 inch baking pan and bake for 45 minutes or until top is golden brown.

1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1 egg
1 (8.5 ounce) package dry corn bread mix
1 small onion, diced
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

1 small green bell pepper, chopped

1/3 cup yellow cornmeal
salt and pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional) or 2 fresh minced garlic cloves (optional)
1 -2 cup grated cheddar cheese, divided
