Tips:
- Use a good quality bread for the strata. A sturdy bread, such as a French baguette or sourdough, will hold up well in the casserole.
- Do not overmix the egg mixture. Overmixing can make the strata tough.
- Be generous with the cheese. The more cheese, the better!
- Use fresh, ripe tomatoes. This will give the strata the best flavor.
- If you don't have time to make the strata ahead of time, you can assemble it and refrigerate it overnight. Just be sure to bake it in the morning before serving.
- Serve the strata with a green salad and fresh fruit.
Conclusion:
Cheddar Bacon and Tomato Strata is a delicious and easy-to-make breakfast casserole that is perfect for a crowd. It is also a great way to use up leftover bread and vegetables. With its simple ingredients and rich flavor, this strata is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
