CHARDONNAY PORK CHOPS
I began perfecting these juicy chops when I moved to another state and missed my step-dad's best pork recipe. His dish inspired my version with wine sauce. -Joleen Thompson, Farmington, Minnesota

Tips:
- Choose the right pork chops: Look for bone-in, center-cut pork chops that are about 1 inch thick. These will cook evenly and stay juicy.
- Season the pork chops well: Pork chops can handle a lot of flavor, so don't be afraid to season them liberally. A simple combination of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder is a good place to start.
- Cook the pork chops over medium heat: This will help to prevent them from overcooking and drying out.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the pork chops are cooked to your desired doneness: Pork chops are safe to eat at an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit, but you may prefer to cook them to a higher temperature for a more tender result.
- Let the pork chops rest before serving: This will help the juices redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more flavorful and tender chop.
- Serve the pork chops with your favorite sides: Roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, and green beans are all great options.
Conclusion:
Chardonnay pork chops are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The pork chops are tender and juicy, and the chardonnay sauce is rich and flavorful. This dish is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
