Tips:

  • Choose the right carrots: For the best flavor, select fresh, tender carrots with a vibrant orange color.
  • Prepare the carrots properly: Peel and cut the carrots into uniform pieces to ensure even cooking.
  • Use a nonstick skillet: A nonstick skillet will help prevent the carrots from sticking and burning.
  • Cook the carrots over medium heat: This will allow them to caramelize and develop a sweet, nutty flavor.
  • Add the maple syrup and butter towards the end of cooking: This will help prevent the maple syrup from burning and will allow the butter to melt and coat the carrots.
  • Season the carrots to taste: Add a pinch of salt and pepper, or other desired seasonings, to enhance the flavor.

Conclusion:

This simple yet flavorful recipe is a great way to enjoy carrots. The maple syrup and butter add a touch of sweetness and richness, while the thyme adds a hint of herbal flavor.
