Tips:

  • Choose the right carrots: Look for carrots that are firm, smooth, and have a bright orange color. Avoid carrots that are limp, have cracks or blemishes, or have a dull color.
  • Peel the carrots thinly: This will help the carrots cook evenly and absorb the orange flavor better.
  • Use fresh orange juice: Fresh orange juice will give the carrots a brighter flavor and color than store-bought juice.
  • Add a little sugar: Sugar helps to balance out the acidity of the orange juice and adds a touch of sweetness to the carrots.
  • Cook the carrots over medium heat: This will help to prevent the carrots from burning or overcooking.
  • Serve the carrots immediately: Carrots are best served hot or warm. If you need to make them ahead of time, you can cook them and then reheat them gently before serving.
