Yield Makes about 1 1/3 cups

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 small garlic cloves, minced and mashed to a paste with 1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon anchovy paste
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon Dijon-style mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup bottled mayonnaise
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan

Steps:

  • In a bowl whisk together the garlic paste, the anchovy paste, the lemon juice, the mustard, and the Worcestershire sauce, add the mayonnaise, the Parmesan, and pepper to taste, and whisk the dressing until it is combined well. Toss the dressing with salad greens or serve it as a dip with crudités.

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients whenever possible. Fresh herbs, garlic, and Parmesan cheese will give your dressing the best flavor.
  • Don't overdress your salad. A little dressing goes a long way, so start with a small amount and add more to taste.
  • Let the dressing sit for a few minutes before using. This will allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Store the dressing in a jar or container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • Use the dressing on other salads, such as grilled chicken or fish salad, or as a marinade for chicken or vegetables.

Conclusion:

Carrabba's Caesar salad dressing is a delicious and versatile dressing that can be used on a variety of salads. It is easy to make at home with just a few simple ingredients. With its creamy, tangy, and garlicky flavor, this dressing is sure to please everyone at your table.
