Tips:
- Select the Right Cut of Beef: Choose a tender cut of beef, such as flank steak or skirt steak. These cuts are flavorful and cook quickly, making them ideal for carne asada.
- Marinate the Beef: Marinating the beef helps tenderize it and infuse it with flavor. Use a flavorful marinade made with ingredients like lime juice, garlic, cilantro, and cumin.
- Cook the Beef Over High Heat: Carne asada is traditionally cooked over high heat, which helps to sear the meat and lock in the juices. You can use a grill, a skillet, or a comal to cook the beef.
- Make the Chile Verde Sauce: The chile verde sauce is a flavorful and spicy sauce that complements the carne asada perfectly. Use a variety of chiles, tomatillos, and spices to make the sauce.
- Serve the Carne Asada with your Favorite Sides: Carne asada can be served with a variety of sides, such as rice, beans, tortillas, and guacamole.
