Tips:

  • Use a sharp knife to score the ham before baking. This will help the glaze penetrate the meat and create a crispy crust.
  • If you don't have brown sugar, you can use granulated sugar instead. Just be sure to add a little extra molasses or honey to give the glaze a richer flavor.
  • If you're using a pre-cooked ham, you can skip the baking step and just glaze the ham before serving.
  • You can also make these buns ahead of time. Just assemble them and bake them according to the directions, then let them cool completely. Store the buns in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze them for up to 2 months.
  • To reheat the buns, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the buns on a baking sheet and bake them for 10-15 minutes, or until they are heated through.
