Hopefully there will be some left for the party...made two batches! I think you could use all peanuts if preferred. I found it broke up better when...

CARAMEL CRISPIX MIX W/ M&M'S
I got this recipe from a coworker, warning: it's highly addictive! It's a perfect combination of salty, sweet, and a little chocolate. I was a little hesitant about microwaving the mixture in a bag, but it turns out well. You could definitely add more M&M's if you'd like. I've made this for holidays and used festive M&M's (red/white/blue for the 4th of July, red/green for Christmas). Total cook time includes cooling.

Tips:
- For the best results, use fresh caramel. If you don't have any on hand, you can make your own by following the recipe in the article.
- If you want your Crispix bars to be extra gooey, add an extra 1/2 cup of caramel.
- Be sure to press the mixture firmly into the pan so that it holds together well.
- If you don't have a 9x13 inch pan, you can use a smaller pan, but you may need to adjust the baking time.
- Let the bars cool completely before cutting them into squares.
Conclusion:
Caramel Crispix bars are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. They're gooey, chewy, and packed with flavor. Plus, they're a great way to use up leftover caramel. So next time you're looking for a sweet snack, give these bars a try. You won't be disappointed!
