Tips:

  • Use fresh coffee: Stale coffee will result in muffins that lack flavor. For the best results, use freshly ground coffee beans. A medium roast coffee with a chocolatey flavor is a good choice for these muffins.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing will develop the gluten in the flour, resulting in tough muffins. Mix the batter just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Fill the muffin cups evenly: This will ensure that the muffins bake evenly. Use a large cookie scoop to dispense the batter into the muffin cups.
  • Don't overbake the muffins: Overbaked muffins will be dry and crumbly. Bake the muffins for just until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the muffins cool before frosting: This will help the frosting to set properly. Let the muffins cool for at least 10 minutes before frosting them.

Conclusion:

Cappuccino muffins with streusel topping are a delicious and easy-to-make treat. They are perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a snack.
