Tips for Heavenly Candy Cane Coffee Cakes with Apples:

- Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature before starting the batter. This aids in a smooth and well-blended mixture. - Use fresh, crisp apples for the filling. Granny Smith apples provide a delightful balance of tartness and sweetness. - Do not overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in a tough texture. Stir until just combined. - If desired, sprinkle a cinnamon-sugar mixture on top of the batter before baking. This adds an extra burst of flavor. - For optimal results, use a 12-cup bundt pan. This provides ample space for the cake to rise and ensures even baking. - Allow the coffee cake to cool for at least 10 minutes before inverting it onto a serving plate. This prevents the cake from breaking. - For a festive presentation, dust powdered sugar on top of the cooled coffee cake. Consider adding candy cane pieces or sprinkles for an extra touch of holiday cheer.
