Tips:

  • To achieve a fudgy texture, ensure that you do not overmix the batter. Mix the batter only until the ingredients are well combined.
  • Use high-quality chocolate. This will make a significant difference in the overall taste of the brownies.
  • Do not overbake the brownies. They should be slightly gooey in the center when you remove them from the oven.
  • Chopped pecans can be dry roasted before adding it to the brownie batter. Toasting the nuts will enhance the flavor and add a nice crunchy texture to the brownies.
  • For a richer flavor, use brown sugar instead of granulated sugar.
  • If you don't have butterscotch chips, you can use semi-sweet chocolate chips or toffee bits instead.
  • To make the brownies even more decadent, you can add a layer of salted caramel sauce or chocolate ganache on top.
  • These brownies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
