Categories     Appetizers

Yield 3 servings

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 boneless, skinless chicken breast
2 cups flour
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups seasoned breadcrumb
1 cup oil, for frying
1 large baguette
10 slices mozzarella cheese
marinara sauce
⅓ cup butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Slice the chicken breast into ½ inch (1 ¼ cm) thick strips.
  • Place the flour, eggs, and bread crumbs into 3 separate bowls.
  • Roll a chicken strip in the flour, dusting off excess. Dip the strip into the egg, then place into the bread crumbs, coating it completely.
  • Repeat with the remaining chicken.
  • Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat to 350˚F (180˚C).
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180˚C).
  • Fry the breaded chicken strips until both sides are golden brown.
  • Remove from heat and drain on a paper towel.
  • Slice the baguette into thirds or fourths (each baguette piece should be roughly the same length of the fried chicken strips).
  • Hollow out the insides of the baguette pieces with a knife.
  • Lay two slices of mozzarella on top of each other with a 1 inch (2 ½ cm) overlap. Place a chicken strip on the overlapping region, then fold the mozzarella tightly around the chicken.
  • Push the rolled chicken strips into a baguette piece.
  • Slice the stuffed baguette pieces into 1 inch (2 ½ cm) slices, then place them tightly side-by-side on a baking sheet lined with foil.
  • In a small bowl, mix together ingredients for garlic butter.
  • Brush the garlic butter evenly over the baguette slices, making sure some drips in between the slices.
  • Wrap the foil over the re-assembled baguette and bake for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is melted and the top is starting to brown.
  • Remove the foil and serve with marinara!

Provided by Shelby Jo

Categories     Chicken

Time 40m

Yield 1 Pizza Roll

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 boneless chicken breasts
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 pizza dough
8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
3 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup frank, wing sauce
1/3 cup ranch dressing or 1/3 cup blue cheese dressing

Steps:

  • Cut chicken into cubes. Season with salt and pepper. Heat teaspoon of olive oil in skillet and add chicken when hot. Cook chicken completely and then add 1/4 cup of wing sauce. Stir to coat chicken and let simmer for a minute or two. Take chicken off heat and let cool.
  • Pre-heat oven to 425°F.
  • On a well floured surface, spread pizza dough into a long rectangle shape. Add ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing (depending on your preference!) and remaining 1/4 cup of wing sauce. Spread across the dough. Add chicken and then top with mozzarella and cheddar cheese. You can also add a bit more of the wing sauce on top of the cheese if you want it to be a little bit spicier.
  • Starting on one of the short ends, roll it up until you reach the other end. Make sure to tuck the ends of the dough in so the middle doesn't 'ooze' out when baking.
  • Spray baking sheet with light coat of non-stick cooking spray. Place garbage bread on the pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Let sit for five minutes and cut into and enjoy!

Tips:

  • For the best results, use a good quality loaf of bread that is fresh and has a good crust. A baguette or ciabatta bread works well.
  • To make the buffalo chicken filling, be sure to cook the chicken thoroughly. Shred it into small pieces so that it is easy to mix with the other ingredients.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of hot sauce in the buffalo chicken filling to your taste. If you like it extra spicy, add more hot sauce. If you prefer it milder, use less.
  • To make the garlic butter, use unsalted butter so that you can control the amount of salt in the recipe. Add minced garlic, parsley, and salt to taste.
  • When assembling the stuffed garlic bread, be sure to spread the garlic butter on both sides of the bread slices. This will help to create a crispy, golden crust.
  • Bake the stuffed garlic bread in a preheated oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the bread is golden brown.

Conclusion:

Buffalo chicken stuffed garlic bread is a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or main course. It is perfect for parties or game day gatherings. With its combination of spicy buffalo chicken, creamy cheese, and garlicky bread, this dish is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
