Time 10m

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/2 c butter
3 oz semi sweet chocolate
1/2 c sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 c milk

Steps:

  • 1. In saucepan over medium heat melt butter and chocolate. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Then mix in eggs, vanilla, flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk in milk until smooth. Pour 1/2 to 1 cup batter into preheated waffle iron sprayed with cooking spray and cook about 2 minutes.
  • 2. Several ways to enjoy these. Sprinkle a little powdered sugar on them or maybe some fruit and whipped cream. Want a dessert, top with some ice cream and chocolate syrup. Make ice cream sandwiches. So many choices...

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate. The better the chocolate, the better the waffles will taste. Look for chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 70%.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the waffles tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Let the batter rest for at least 30 minutes. This will allow the flavors to meld and the batter to thicken.
  • Cook the waffles on a hot waffle iron. This will help to create a crispy exterior and a fluffy interior.
  • Serve the waffles immediately. Waffles are best when they are fresh and warm.

Conclusion:

Brownie waffles are a delicious and easy-to-make treat. They are perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert. With a few simple tips, you can make sure that your brownie waffles turn out perfectly every time.
